I am envious of people who get to experience snow – play in snow, make snowmen, lie on the snow and make snow angels. Unfortunately, I live in a place where we never get snow.

I found the next best thing. While I was browsing on Wiki How, I found this article on how to make an American Girl Doll skating rink using tin foil, old boxes, business cards, tape, scissors and maybe some cotton.

It seems pretty easy. Want to give it a try? Click here for the full article.

Flowerz In Her Hair was started by Mom Amy Jackson.  Her story is familiar to our product reviews.  She wanted something better.  A better product and better service.  After two boys, she was blessed with a little girl.  She couldn’t wait to dress her up pretty with flowers and bows.  Frustrated with the selection and quality of hair accessories for her little princess, she decided to make her own.  Now she is a successful business owner creating comfortable and quality products for your princesses, big and little.  Flowerz In Her Hair offers a wide range of products ranging from headbands, flowers, and communion veils.  We received two adorable flower hair clips and a ribbon headband for review.

Flower clips and bows are available in almost every color or flower style you could imagine.  There are so many different varieties to choose from.  The flower clip we received is priced at $5.50 for one or $10.00 for two.  Most of the bows and fancy hair clips range from about $2.00 – $5.00 depending on the size of the accessory.  The headband we received is priced at $4.95¸and is fully interchangeable with flower and bow clips.  They also offer little beanie hats which the flowers also clip into.  Most orders ship within 48 hours and are shipped USPS.  The website is organized and easy to navigate.

The flower and bow clip we received were so gorgeous!  I could tell that a lot of attention to detail went into making this product.  All the little clips are covered with fabric to make them comfortable to wear all day.  Take a look at the video to see just how lovely they are.  My little niece Olivia wore her flower all night and you could tell she felt like a princess wearing it.  These hair accessories are not just for “little” girls either.  There is so much to entertain the fasionista of your house.  Your school age girls will have a blast creating their own look to match her personality.

What I love about these products is the price!!!  So affordable, you can stock up and mix and match for some fun.  I also can’t say enough about the variety.  I particularly liked the spirit flowers, what a great way to show team spirit or school pride.  And, my absolute favorite flowers are the big funky flowers.  I think girls can really express their individuality with these flowers.

The bottom line?  This is a fun, affordable way to put some creativity into accessorizing in these financially trying times.  Girls of all ages will love these pretty flowers, and I must admit, I couldn’t help thinking how cute they would look at the base of my ponytail…
