I just found this really amazing site on YouTube!

Garden of Imagination’s site features her craft ideas. What caught my eye initially was her polymer clay pies (for your 18-inch dolls). I went to her website and saw other craft ideas – like how to make tiaras, cookies, pies, fruits, etc.

How To Fold A Shirt

It’s Monday morning and even as I am thinking about how much I have to get done this week I am thinking about how much I didn’t get done over the weekend! I have a serious problem with laundry. Luckily I don’t have a problem with it actually getting done, my lovely husband does all of the laundry in our house, but I do have a problem with it getting put away. I hate putting away laundry. My husband will leave a basket full of nicely folded fluffy clean clothes in our closet and by the end of the week it will be a basket of unfolded, dug-through, half clean, half dirty clothes. It’s some kind of mental block.

Knowing that I have to re-fold all of the stuff I have messed up nags at me. But look what my Dad sent me! I couldn’t stop watching it. As soon as work is over I am eager to get to that laundry basket and put this strategy to the test. Have you tried it?

I am always looking for age appropriate stories and books for Emily. She is an avid reader and especially enjoys it when the story continues in a series – she always wants to know… whats next? We have just discovered a sweet little website based on the book. “For the Love of Lauren; Diary of a Young Girl” by a very nice lady named, Lauren McKenna.

You can read a summary of the book below. Emily’s favorite part about the website is that she can read, “Lauren’s Blog” and catch up on what is happening in her life.

We post a lot of sewing and knitting plans on Raising American Girls. Well here’s something for those Mom’s feeling a little more adventurous, or those Dad’s looking for a way to get themselves integrated in to this unknown doll world his daughter lives in

I think this 18 Inch Doll Sled plan from the Wood Workers Workshop is absolutely adorable!! I somehow don’t see me tackling this project – and to be honest I think my husband would most probably lose his mind during the attempt – but I wish one of our readers would! If you do please, please send us photos and let us know if it is as cute as it looks.
