Win a Home Party Business

Hi all…Lisa-Marie here. So I spent the last couple of days making personal phone calls to the few folks who signed up for more information on the Emily Rose @Home – Home Party business for Mom/Daughter entrepreneurs but didn’t join us. I wanted to understand if there was anything we were missing. The unanimous response I got from those calls was – “I’d love to do it – but I don’t have the money to invest right now”. It made me worry about all of those fabulous Mom entrepreneurs who are out there itching to get started but just weren’t in the financial position to do so.

Here’s what I decided to do… I am going to give away 2 Economy Starter Packages and 3 months of websites fees to 2 Moms who really want to start their own businesses. The two winners will receive the following:

I think the Emily Rose at home business would be perfect for my 11 year old daughter and ne. My husband is deployed overseas and I have been looking for a way to be home and available for my daughter while adding to the family income. We would make the most of this business opportunity!

This is something I’ve been wanting to do for quite some time. I’m a military wife and stay-at-home-mom and miss the interaction with other moms. I believe in the AG dolls (and dolls in general) and have a doll lover of my own (who is 7). The other wives in our housing complex all do some form of home consulting business, but NONE do Emily Rose. I would love to have this chance. Not only would it be a great product, but it would be a great thing for me to do as a person — get me out of my shell. :o )

Doll Clothes are huge right now!! With two girls from the age of 5-7 and their network of friends, it would be fabulous way to make extra money and have fabulous products to sell for family and friends. These prices are so much better than some of their competitors plus the advantage of shopping at home with some “mommy socialization” is a huge draw!!

I would love to be an Emily Rose Consultant. Staying home with my kids and still contributing to our finances would be a dream come true. In our area home parties are very popular and no one is doing Emily Rose or anything like it. I would be a great consultant because I bring a true love for dolls, and a great desire to succeed. I also know at least three people who would definitely hostess a party, and many more who after seeing the product would agree.

I am a single Mom with an 8 year old named Caitlin Rose. I always feel so guilty when I have to leave her to go to work. It would be a dream come true to be able to work from home and take her with me when we do have to “work”. Caitlin is a huge fan of Emily Rose, there is nothing like seeing the excitement on her face when the boxes arrive… Its like Christmas Morning, I would love to give that excitement to other great Moms/Daughters. Plus even as an adult who can resist playing dress up with all the great outfits and accessories.

I’ve been looking for something like Emily Rose @home for SO long!!! My husband and I have really felt called to have our own business, but there were always provision. #1, we home school, so it has to be something that isn’t just “ok with,” but welcomes our children. A LOT of business might tolerate your children helping you in the business, but Emily Rose is different… they WELCOME my daughter!! We want her to learn entrepreneurial skills, as well, to prepare for “someday,” and “just in case.” Plus, I have 2 girls (so far) coming up behind her, so this would be a long term thing for us!

In addition to all of that, I’ve done direct sales. I always do “ok,” mostly because I’m not that great at recruiting. I HATE being pushy. With Emily Rose @home, I don’t have to! My income is based off of sales, NOT team members. How awesome is that????

I’m loving this opportunity, I really hope to be able to win the Starter Package!

I have been looking for a way to add some income for our family and came across your site. What a fun way for me to also incorporate my daughter into a business doing something that not only benefits her but interests her as well and we could both have great fun doing it to together! I have been leery of the “at home party businesses” and this would be perfect for me to check it out without the risk of losing my limited resources in starting a business.

Thanks for the opportunity to win my own business!

My 10 year old daugher and I would love to sell Emily Rose clothes. The outfits are adorable and affordable. Many of my daughter’s friends have 18″ dolls; a few of them have more than one. So, I imagine that finding people to host a party would not be a problem. I don’t know of anyone in our area who is part of Emily Rose. Also, the additional income would be wonderful as well.

  14. Cynthia says:

Hello, my name is Cynthia but my friends call me Cynth.
I really appreciate this opportunity to win an Emily Rose Business. This will be a bit long but my hope is that you will see how serious I am about wanting to do this.

I am a WAHM that spends her days homeschooling, volunteering, caregiving to my In-Law’s. I have been married for 8 years this August 23rd.

One of the things that has always been important for my husband and I is for me to stay home and raise and teach our children due to medical issues and severe allergies. One of the ways I have been able to do that in these last few years is by having a “Boutique” in my home where I sell my handmade items as well as selling Avon. So you see I already have a good customer base and I do lovely home parties in my home that take the burden of having to clean their homes or figure out refreshments and such. I do it all and they really appreciate being able to have a party and not deal with “politely” telling people to go. The party’s over when the Hostess leaves,it works out great for everybody!

Also, with mine and my families medical conditions it is hard to find a business that I can work around my families needs for a flexible schedule. I can’t work outside the home unless it can fit around my schedule and what regular brick & mortar business lets you do that? None.

Why Emily Rose? #1)For me honestly the best part of Emily Rose is the product. It’s beautiful and the price of the product is right. I believe that Emily Rose can be integrated into my other life commitments very easily because it would be an easy sell. #2) The commission percentage means I get a 25% discount on personal purchases and we love discounts! #3) There is no one servicing my demographic area.

As you mention in your email training course part 1, AGD, 18″ doll clothes and the industry behind it is big right now, but times ARE tough and alot of us MomPrenuers just can’t ‘shell out’ another hundred bucks right now. A hundred dollars means food on the table or pursing our dream and having some self-fullment in doing something you can be passionate about. So this contest is a huge BLESSING and I would be so Grateful,no body would be more greatful than me:)

Prior to marriage I worked in retail for 20 years as a Manager, Buyer and Merchandiser. As a buyer I understand how having different resources to obtain the products your target customer wants is vital to success in any avenue of retail. I think Emily Rose would be another AWESOME resource to have in my arsenal of tools to provide a wonderful, family friendly business resource. I love meeting new people and saving all of us money on the fun things we want for our families. My dd is 6 and loves helping mommy sell stuff because she gets a percentage of the money and she gets to give some to missions at church and have spending money.

Sorry this was so long but it would be a great opportunity for us.

    Gratefully, The Surbers.
